HARISSA

Harissa is a hot tapenade with roots in Tunisia. Harissa is also a popular dish in Moroccan cuisine and is lovingly seasoned. The tapenade is delicious in a pita, for a mezze or for marinating meat and vegetables on the grill.

INGREDIENTS

190 grams Habanero
120 grams piquillo pepper (roasted bell pepper)
4 cloves garlic
1 tsp cumin
1 tbsp white wine vinegar
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp. fine salt

HOW TO DO IT

Put everything in a blender and process until the consistency is a coarse puree. Let it sit and steep for a good hour in the refrigerator.
