KLAUS' LAVA POT WITH PASTA

An easy guide to making lava pot the Chili Klaus way . Lava pot is reminiscent of spaghetti bolognese or pasta with meat sauce... Just with a bite from chili.
Tip! Of the chili varieties, Chipotle Morita is especially delicious for lava pot. Chipotle chili has a smoky aroma. If you want heat, Carolina Reaper chili is for you. Be generous with the red wine, it is essential!
INGREDIENTS
1 kilo of minced beef400 grams peeled tomatoes
2 onions
2 cloves garlic
2 bay leaves
1 tsp. chili powder or 1 dried chili
2 deciliters of red wine
oil for frying
optionally freshly chopped chili
salt and freshly ground pepper
ASSERT
400 g penne pasta1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon salt
HOW TO DO IT
Heat the oil in a pan and brown the beef little by little until all the meat is cooked. In the meantime, blend the peeled tomatoes and finely chop the onion and garlic. Add the rest of the ingredients when the meat is browned and let the lava pot simmer for 2 hours. If necessary, dilute with a little water so that the pot does not burn. Finally, season with salt and pepper.
Cook the pasta in plenty of lightly salted water for about 12 minutes. Strain the pasta and toss with a little oil.
SERVING
Arrange the pasta in the bottom of a deep plate and place the lava pot on top. Sprinkle with some finely chopped fresh chili, if desired.
