The Atacama Pro dehydrator is for the larger kitchen and the enthusiastic user.
The heart or motor of the dehydrator is located at the end of the machine and ensures an even airflow horizontally across all 6 trays, so that your chilies, fruits and other things are dried evenly and ensure you a very nice result. The dehydrator comes in a deep, red color and, like its big brother, the Atacama Pro Deluxe, has an electronic control panel with digital display and contains 6 preset programs as well as the P1-EVO program, where you set the 3 variables yourself:

Temperature, from 30 - 68 degrees.

The 6 automatic programs are as follows:
- A1 - Auto: for use with all product types and when you are unsure which program to use. Duration: 30 hours and average temp. of 55 degrees.
- A2 - Thin: short program, preferably for thinly sliced fruit and vegetables. Duration: 18 hours and max. temp. of 50 degrees.
- A3-Bio: preferably for organic and raw food. Duration: 30 hours and max temp. of 45 degrees.
- A4-Hot: the dehydrator's hottest program for meat, among other things. Duration: 15 hours and max. temp. of 68 degrees.
- A5 pasta: optimized for drying pasta: Duration: 20 hours. and average temp. of 40 degrees.
- A6-eco: low-energy program, also suitable for light products that are not moved, as low air flow is used. Duration: 48 hours and max temp. of 45 degrees.

Atacama Pro can be used to dry everything from chilies, citrus, apples, pears, bananas, figs to flower petals - in short, everything from the orchard. Meat, fish, vegetables and herbs are also perfect for drying. When you dry, you also extend the shelf life, but retain the taste.
For example, a fresh chili can last for a few weeks in the fridge, while a dried chili can last for several years. You simply have many more uses.
